My condolences to all of Dave's family and friends. I have fond memories of Dave at Harvest Fest geocaching events with my hubby 1701eh. When we were in a car accident going home after the caching fun, Dave came to the hospital to give my children and I some well needed words of comfort. Over the years he has offered support and guidance. Seeing him at the many geocaching events with his maple cookies was always a highlight. I am a proud owner of his safety vest and a geobag which will carry on his geocaching legacy!

Dave was a beloved member of the geocaching community. He always had a smile, a kind word, and a maple cookie to share. Deepest condolences to his family. He will be remembered and sadly missed.

Without Dave’s encouragement and assistance with college financial aid, I might not have gone to McMaster Divinity College. He was a great friend to students in college and after college. He was there to hold my hand (figuratively) on the day I was voted in for ordination. He shared my pulpit and blessed my congregation with his sermon. A good and thoughtful friend. I will miss him. (Oh yeah, he was also my Apple/Mac computer go to guy who helped me close my Windows.)

My sincere condolences to Dave's family and his very many friends.
I was lucky to have gone on many caching adventures with Dave, and often others as well, and I will remember those fun times. I am thankful for those shared experiences.
"It's all part of the adventure!" --DNStephens, 2018.
May you continue to have many exciting adventures, Dave.
The attached photo is from our trip to the west coast in 2018, specifically our visit to Geocaching HQ where we used the photo booth to take some silly photos to add to their log book and photo album.
