Stella/Perry, I was so shocked by the recent news. I went to public school with Bill at Lord Roberts school. I have always remembered Bill as one of the good guys. It was rough school in those days and Bill was one of the few I never fought with. I was so glad when I heard that he had married and had a wonderful family. Currently I am going through a tragedy as my brother is in hospital on in a palliative state within days or hours of passing. Our family is basically living at the hospital comforting each other and Tony. My brother and I fought most of our lives as siblings do, but at some point we learned to respect each other and connected like when we were little. This event is bringing my dysfunctional family together in miraculous ways. My thoughts are with your family at this time of pain and transition. May Bill live on in your hearts and thoughts. Hi Stella, my dear friend. I am so sorry for your loss and I don't even know what to say. And as you know, there are just no words. But I wanted to let you know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and the kids. I never met Bill, but I fondly remember all of our long talks about you, Bill and the kids. I am so sorry for your loss. You wouldn't know me but we at Golder Associates would see Bill most days as he picked up our packages with a smile and a nod as he quickly took them and always delivered them to the right place and within the time we needed. Bill was such a dedicated courier! Every day, Rain, shine, snow, sleet... No matter what! he would come at our call to pick up our packages. It was almost everyday. He never seemed to take any time off even. We could just always rely on the fact that when we called and left a message he would come shortly after to pick up what we needed. We are so deeply sorry and devastated at the loss of a great friend. Bill was always a pleasure to be around and was always happy. We spent many days together at soccer on the sidelines watching our children and he was always a great guy to talk to. He often picked up my Nick to hang out with Alex and was always happy to do it. Stella, I am so deeply saddened by this news and can only imagine the pain you and your children are enduring.
