Obituary of Jack Thurlow Thornton

Suddenly, on Friday, March 29, 2019, Jack passed away in his 77th year. Best friend & husband of Diane (Murch) for 32 years. Loving father of Jack Jr. (Ruth), Perry (Lori), Scott (Joelle), Mark (Laurie) and step-father of Terry (Heidi) Hardwick & the late James Hardwick. Cherished grandfather of Cody, Colton, Chasen, Nash, Zoe, Curtis, Courtney, Cassandra (deceased), Melissa, Trevor, Brett, Clayton & Hunter. Dear brother of Wayne (Mary), Martin (Bonnie), Terry & Linda (deceased). Also survived by many nieces, nephews & cousins. Jack will be missed by his Aunt Daisy Thornton & her family. Predeceased by his parents Cliff & Iolene Thornton. Jack was a longtime employee of Lawson & Jones (SPG) and had a love for motorcycles and classic cars. In his retirement Jack loved his work with the Logan & Evans Funeral Homes, for 15 years, where he helped many families during one of the most difficult times in their lives.
