This will seem like a strange note of condolence, but please bear with me. When I was a little girl, I lived on a dairy farm near St. Thomas and my dad dealt at the Bank of Montreal , Covent Garden Branch in London., the branch I believe Mrs. Brady served at for many years. I often went with my dad into London on banking trips, with a stop in the Covent Garden Market for cheese curds! But another highlight of the trip, was going to the bank with my dad. Mrs. Brady was usually the person that waited on dad at the counter, and she always took the time to chat with me and make me feel special. She would ask about school or whatever was going on in my life at the time, or compliment me on something I was wearing etc. I remember how lovely she was- her beautiful smile and that she was truly interested in me! I know my dad held her in high esteem and was always assured that all his banking needs were met. When I saw her obituary today, I was pretty sure that it was her... my dad spoke of Mrs. Brady by name many times, and once I had read the obituary and saw the photo, I knew it just had to be her. I wanted you to know about a simpler time, when she made a difference in a little girl's day. From the information about her, it sounds as though this was a common trait of her's- kindness and caring, and I wanted you to know of this little story. Please accept my sincere condolences at her passing, She was indeed a special lady.
