Obituary of Dorothy Barbara Chapman (nee Richardson)
Peacefully, with family by her side on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Peoplecare Oakcrossing, Dorothy Chapman passed away at the age of 81.
Beloved wife of the late Rev. Edward Chapman (2016). Loving mother of Jonathan (Mia). Dear grandmother of Isaac. Sister of Joan Richardson-Horsey (Rev. Herb Horsey) and Charles Richardson. Greatly missed by dear friends/family Chuck & Cherry Bulmer. Forever in the hearts of many, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Met at the pearly gates by her K-9 companions Jane, Princess, Thor, Jackson and grand-dog Jupiter.
Dorothy will be fondly remembered as being a strong advocate for those with disabilities. She strongly believed in the inherent dignity of all people and the preservation of the Earth. Dorothy was an avid gardener, poet and an overall wonderful, caring and creative individual.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial service will be held at St. Aidan's Anglican Church, 1246 Oxford St. W., London, Ontario on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 1:30 p.m.

Include your name and phone number for all members of your group. *NOTE* : As per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, attendance numbers will be restricted, masks are mandatory and as per the wishes of the family, proof of double vaccination along with identification will be required.
