Dear Joan and family, I was saddened to learn of Dorothys passing. I have so many wonderful memories of the good times we shared, whether at CGIT, camp, band and of course our wonderful road trip to Port Hilford. Dorothy was a wonderful friend and especially at this time of year I always recall the great singing with your mother at the piano. My sympathies to all the family. I sure in the coming days that happy memories will bring you comfort. Sincerely, Marge

Hello Joan: My condolences on the loss of Dorothy. My brother Ken sends his condolences & best wishes to you, too. Dorothy & Ed visited Edith and I, years ago and I was pleased to be able to share such a nice member of the Richardson clan with my wife. (We're dog lovers, too.) God bless, Mark, the baby of the Halifax Richardsons

Dear Jonathan and Family, I send condolences as you grieve the loss but celebrate the life of Dorothy. Dorothy and I met at Acadia University and we reconnected when I lived in London. We often had lunch with the late Linda Peers, another Acadian. Dorothy was a lively and lovely lady. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a contagious laugh. Dorothy was an intelligent and compassionate lady and I have missed her friendship since I moved from London. I send my "knobby kneed" Cape Breton friend peace as she reunites with Ed. Please know that I will remember Dorothy's family in my thoughts and prayers. Blessings to all , especially Jonathan, Dawn.
