Stephen Dow posted a condolence

To the family of Eileen, I am the son and nephew of the Dow Brothers, Donald (my Dad) and Nelson and Ivan. They are all now deceased along with their sisters. Ivan's wife Elly is the only remaining family from that generation. I have fond memories when Eileen and Shirley would come to visit Grandma, i believe they lived at one time on the next farm and I think the girls may have helped when the boys were small. Our sincere sympathies to your family and I know it was always a happy day when they came for a visit on the farm up by Wingham.

You and all Eileen's family have my most sincere condolences Ken. I cannot say we were close but both Eileen and Shirley made every attempt to keep the lines of communication open through many years and I always enjoyed or times together. I have very warm memories of a visit to the Snell farm when we were all much younger, probably 80 years ago. I recall an exciting junk drawer in the pantry that impressed me with its contents. I am sorry to miss our annual cousins' lunch again his year. Perhaps we can try again to convene next year.
