Obituary of Doris Hazel Emmons
Peacefully, at Chelsey Park Nursing Home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014, Doris Hazel Emmons, of London, Ontario, passed away in her 86th year. Loving mother of Ronald (Sharon) Emmons of Innisfil & Darlene Blommers of London; grandmother of Chris (Erin) Emmons, Sheri (Tony) Lind, Derreck (Heather) Emmons, Ryan (Angela) Emmons & Teri Slater and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Elaine McRae. Predeceased by sons Terry (1963) & Lawrence (2006), parents Lawrence & Isobel Thomas and 3 sisters. Also survived by Wayne Thomas and Betty Anne Dixon.
Doris was actively involved in her church life & loved to travel.
Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Doris has organized her own service, which will be conducted by her family, and will be held in the Evans Chapel on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
