Obituary of Carol Zavitz

Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, on Monday, November 28, 2022, Carol Zavitz passed away in her 73rd year at Victoria Hospital. Carol leaves behind the love of her life, her husband of 56 years, Jim Zavitz. She will be deeply missed by her children Tom (Sandy), Ron (Laurel), Rick (Deana), and Mike (Tina), and by her beloved grandchildren Ryan, Josh, Claudia, Connor and Quintin. She was the dear sister of Roy (Irene) and Don (Marilyn). Carol was predeceased by her mother Joan Langford, and sister Gail (the late Ken) Essery. Carol devoted her life to being an incredible wife, mother, and grandmother. Friends and family will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 7-9 pm, and Friday, December 2, from 12-2 pm. Funeral Service will be held in The Evans Chapel at 2 pm on Friday, December 2.
