Obituary of "Alf" Alfred Charles Roberts

Peacefully, at night, surrounded by family on Thursday, February 21, 2008, “Alf” Alfred C. Roberts in his 74th year. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Barb, children Brenda, Rick & his wife Tanya, and Bonnie. “Grandpa” to Shawn, Tyson, Lindsay & Raelyn, and great-grandfather of Cameron. Brother of Ronald Roberts and Ruth-Anne Crandall. Survived by his nieces & nephews. Also remembered by close family friend Karen Hodge. Alf worked for many years at Jones Packaging & is a dedicated member of A.A. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Memorial Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Monday, February 25, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Brian McKay officiating. Donations to the Lung Association, Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
