Obituary of Percy Lavern Peckham
After a mighty struggle with Alzheimer’s Percy passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2009 in his 90th year. Predeceased by his loving wife of 57 years Elma (Potter) (2003) & daughter Shirley Peckham (2005). Greatly missed by daughter Phyllis & her husband Ross Patterson; grandchildren Christina (Ben) Kenneth, Rhonda (Bradley) Lawrence. Dearly missed by daughter Betty Muma; grandchildren Connie (Roosevelt), Corina (Arron), Colleen. Also missed by grandchildren Meranda (Grant) Anderson, Trevor Shewan (Yuxi), many great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Dear brother of Eileen, Alice, Ruthie, Norman, Douglas & Kenneth. Predeceased by sister Jean and brothers Richard, Orvil, Lorne, Glen & Ted. Percy served in England during WWII. Special Thanks to Dr. Trenker and the nursing staff on H1. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Wednesday from 7-9pm. A Graveside Service will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 10am (please meet at cemetery office, off Dundas inside gate to left). Donations to the Alzheimer Society or the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca
