Obituary of Wietsche "Wieke/Wilma" Stelpstra

In her eighty eighth year, our mother Wietsche (Wieke, Wilma) Stelpstra passed away into the arms of her Lord Jesus on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Predeceased by her husband Berend Stelpstra in May of 1974. The loving mom of Tena and Jim Baker, Jake and Donna Stelpstra, Bill Stelpstra and Andrew Smyth, Art and Jane Stelpstra, Joanne and Bob Baker, Lottie and Bill Scott, Alice and Chris Styan, Ingrid and Ken Dieleman. The loving Beppe of her grandchildren Josh and Joyce, Jessica, Jason and Jenn, Jordan and Mamie, Jenny and Tyler, Heidi and Brady, Kendra and Jon, Brian and Jessalyn, Aaron, Adrian and Lea, Steve and Steph, Dan and Merriam, Peter and Caitlin, Adam and Jaime, Andrew and Cheryl, Nick and Ashley, Andrew, Eric and Sara, Graham, Ben, Ethan, Abby and Matthea. Proud Great Grandmother of Scarlett, Maya, York, Leah, Trey, Janay, Ezra, Jadeyn, Quentin, Jasmine, Van, Jack, Will, Matthew, Lily, Austin, Alex and Carolyn. Family & Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Wieke’s life will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 716 Classic Dr. (at Gore Rd.), on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Eric Groot-Nibblelink officiating. A private family interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
