Suddenly, Anita Hawkins (nee Lachance), in her 79th year passed away on Saturday January 10, 2004, at Valley Farm Community Nursing Home (Pickering). Predeceased by husband Cyril, May 25, 1975. Cherished by daughters Jacqueline (Denis) Walsh (Pickering), and Pamela (Keith) Darragh (Calgary). Beloved Grandmama to Shannon Anita Walsh, Renee (Chris) Cracknell-Walsh, Delaney & Shaun Darragh. Dear sister to Frank Lachance, Aurele Lachance, Irene St. Jean, Georgette Labow, Noella Mercer, Annette Gordon and Jacqueline Guttormson. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews. Resting at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd., on Tuesday Jan. 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Mass at Mary Immaculate Church, 1980 Trafalgar St., on Wednesday January 14, 2004, at 10:00 a.m. with Father Graham Keep officiant. Parish Prayers at the funeral home 3:45 pm Tuesday.
