Obituary of Richard "Dick" Byers

Surrounded by his family on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at Victoria Hospital, L.H.S.C., Richard "Dick" Byers, of London, in his 86th year. He was predeceased by his loving wife Gwen Byers (2009). Richard leaves behind his children Rodney (Rose) of Nova Scotia, Patricia (Pat Misener) MacKenzie, Judy (Will) Mepsted, Ron (Debbie) and Rick (Kristen). He will be missed by many grand and great-grandchildren. He was fun, funny, and everybody loved him. His open heart and unique spirit will be missed by everyone. The family will receive friends at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial service will be held at All Saints’ Anglican Church, 249 Hamilton Rd., on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to All Saints’ Anglican Church or to World Vision would be greatly appreciated by the family.
