Obituary of Frederick "Fred" Cotton
Quietly, with his wife by his side at Caressant Care, St. Thomas, on Tuesday, January 30, 2018, Fred Cotton passed away in his 89th year.
Fred is survived by his wife Betty.
He was the loving father of John, Cheryl, Wendy, Chris, Kathy, Pam, Richard and Brian. He will be missed by his 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and his dear cat Molly.
Fred was a longtime active member of the Ashlar Masonic Lodge #610 A.F & A.M, and played darts at the Kiwanis Senior Centre, Riverside, for many years.
Friends and family will be received at the EVANS FUNERAL HOME, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block East of Egerton), on Friday, February 9, 2018, from 12-1 pm. Masonic and funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm.
According to Fred’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family burial will take place at a later date, at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Those who wish to make a memorial donation in Fred’s name are asked to consider the Salvation Army Adult Day Program.
