Obituary of Cheryl Frances Hocking (nee Anderson)

Peacefully, with family by her side, on Thursday, April 17, 2014 Cheryl passed away at the age 62 years. Loving wife & best friend of William (Bill) for 42 years. Beloved daughter of the late Dorothy (Wray) Whaley & Frank Anderson. Dear sister of Grant (Shirley) Whaley, Karol Anderson, Elliott Whaley & the late Wayne Whaley. Cheryl will be missed by the Hocking family, many nieces & nephews, and her furry friends Brandie & Till. Cheryl was a dedicated longtime employee at Parkwood Hospital. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Monday, April 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
