Obituary of Chester Joseph Bielak

Peacefully, at home after a lengthy illness, on April 3, 2017, Chester passed away in his 79th year. Beloved son of the late Bernice & Martin Bielak. Dear companion of Anita Ramsey, for over 20 years, and Little Joe. Loving father of Rob and grandfather of Jesse & Breana. Predeceased by his brothers Adam & Stanley. Special thanks to good friend Jeff and Kathie for their love & care for many years. Chester will be remembered by his nieces and his many friends & customers. Chester was the longtime owner and shoemaker of Ealing Shoe Repair. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
