Obituary of Robert Earl Vyse

Peacefully, with family by his side, at Parkwood Hospital on Monday, February 4, 2008, Robert Earl Vyse in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Gloria (1973) and Mary (2003). Loving father of Lee, Michael, Mark & Darrell Vyse, and step-father of Una Paget of Chatham & Guy Chalk of London. Loving grandfather of David, Leanne & Christopher. Also remembered by many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. Robert was a longtime employee of the L.T.C. (London Transit Commission). Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2008 in the Evans Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Brian McKay officiating. A private interment will take place at a later time. A Royal Canadian Legion Memorial Service, under the auspices of Victory Branch #317, will be held Wednesday at 7pm in the Evans Chapel.
