Obituary of Rev. William "Bill" Green

At McGarrell Place on Sunday March 29, 2009, Rev. William “Bill” Green, of London, in his 93rd year, went home to be with his Lord and Master. Beloved husband of Ruth Green, and the late Marjorie Green (1999). Dear father of Richard & his wife Judy, Fred & his wife Elma, Norma Lambson, and John & his wife Wanda, all of Port Huron, Michigan. Predeceased by son William “Ron” Green. Dear step-father of Ross Howey & his wife Maggie, and Bruce Howey & his wife Holly of California. Loved by several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Dear brother to four brothers and one sister. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Thursday, April 2, 2009 from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m with Pastor David Barker officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Bill was a minister at North Gate Bible Church in Port Huron, Michigan.
