Obituary of Alice Ordish

Peacefully, with family by her side, at Marian Villa on Monday, September 29, 2008, Alice Ordish in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Harry Ordish (1968). Dear mother of Alec (Barb), Arthur, both of London & Laura (Bob) Burns of England. Loving grandmother of Susan, Sandra, Ian, Stephanie, Tony, Dawn, Gary, Kim, Gregg, Janet, Carole, Mandy & Ally. Also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and family members in England. Alice will always be remembered & respected by her children as a strong-willed & feisty lady. She was a longtime member of the Canterbury Belles at All Saints’ Anglican Church. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Thursday, October 2, 2008 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. A Memorial Service will be held at All Saints’ Anglican Church, 249 Hamilton Rd, on Saturday, October 18, 2008 @ 2:00 p.m. with The Rev'd Peter Leonard officiating.
