Obituary of Elsie "Billie" Lindley
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Elsie “Billie” Lindley (nee Graham) in her 82nd year at L.H.S.C. Victoria Hospital on October 6, 2009. Elsie is joined in heaven by her beloved soulmate Alex Lindley (2001). Loving sister of Dorothy Dubblestein of Peterborough. Cherished aunt of Sandra Dubblestein and Dean Dubblestein both of Toronto. Elsie will be dearly missed by many cousins, neighbors and friends. She will be remembered as a loving and kind person who touched so many lives. Her endurance and tenacity were an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be remembered as a genuinely caring individual who always took time to engage others in conversation, truly interested in their well-being. Her sense of humour and enjoyment of a good laugh was there until the end, if only with a smile. She will be dearly loved and forever in our hearts. Friends will be received by the family on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.) for memorial visitation from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. The Memorial service will follow in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations to London Humane Society or Charity of Choice would be greatly acknowledged by the family. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca .
