Obituary of Rosabel "Rose" Atkins

Passed away peacefully at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig, on Thursday, December 9, 2010, with her children by her side, in her 96th year. Predeceased by husbands Lawrence Atkins, Gordon Clayton, son Harold Clayton & grandson Bill Clayton. Beloved mother of Gordon, Sylvia (Pat), Lucille (Jack), Bruce and mother-in-law of Linda Clayton. Loving grandmother of Terry, Mike, Anne-Marie, Tracey, Roger, Connie, Kathleen, Rob, 14 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Monday, December 13, 2010 from 12-1pm. Funeral service will follow in the Evans Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
