Obituary of Paul Beamer Baker

Peacefully, at University Hospital, on Sunday, February 27, 2011, Paul passed away in his 88th year. Loving husband of the late Marjorie (Tupholme) (2004). Dear father of Lorean & her husband Art Wakefield and the late Vaughan Baker (2010). Grandfather of Dwayne (Teresa), Shawn, Ashley, Tiffany and Tanner. Great-grandfather of Gwendolyn & Brianna. Predeceased by grandson Craig (2008) and parents Albert & Emma Baker. Paul will be lovingly remembered by niece Kathie & her husband Bill Landry, their family and several nieces & nephews. Paul was a WWII Veteran and longtime employee of London Steel. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block east of Egerton), on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 from 7-9pm. A Legion service under the auspices of Duchess of Kent Legion #263 will be held in the Evans Chapel Tuesday @ 7pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Evans Chapel on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with The Rev. Brian McKay officiating. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
