Obituary of Arie Boender

Peacefully, with family by his side, on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, in his 97th year. Loving husband of the late Willemyntje (Vanderhoek) (1997). Dear father of John & his wife Donna, Yanny & her husband Mario Gargarella and predeceased by daughter Leny & her husband John Hoefman. Survived by 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton), on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be conducted in the Immanuel Reformed Church, 266 High Street, London, on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Case Koolhaas officiating. Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
