Dear Eva, Mike, and family: Siegfried and I were so sorry to hear of the death of your mother. She was always a good friend, generous with her time, hospitality and wisdom. I enjoyed her stories, memories and her enthusiasm for opera, even though I didn't share it. Until the last few years, she was full of life and vitality. We missed her when she moved to Ottawa, but I know that it must have meant a lot to have her close to you, and we enjoyed the Christmas letters you sent on her behalf. Deepest sympathy to all of you, and with loving thoughts of Elisabeth. Carole and Siegfried

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Elisabeth Nadeau. We do have a wonderful audio/video of a family dinner at Elisabeth and John's home in 1985 with Elisabeth, John, Hanna, Karl, Omi, Uncle, and children. Should you wish a copy be made for your family, please let us know and we will make those arrangements for you. With sincere condolences, Terri

I was greatly saddened to read Elisabeth's obituary in the newspaper. I have always thought of her with affection and I have wonderful memories of working with her at Dorset. I knew her to be an exceptional, patient teacher, dedicated to her students and maintaining a close rapport with them. She was a gracious woman at all times - one "classy dame"! She always spoke lovingly of her children and grandchildren and I know you will miss her. My thoughts are with you at this time. Joanne Dansby

I remember Elisabeth Nadeau as a very gracious lady with a keen intellect and a wonderfully generous spirit. I knew Elisabeth when I lived in the same apartment building as her mother in Vancouver. I shall never forget the kindness extended to me by Elisabeth during the brief time that I taught at Dorset College.
