Obituary of Dagmar E. I. "Debbie" King (nee Krziyzek)
Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Victoria Hospital, on Sunday, March 2, 2014, Dagmar passed away in her 70th year. Loving wife of Steve for over 30 years, and "Mom" of Barb (Jim) Umbelina & Brian (Claire) Masuch. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas (Chelsea) Umbelina, Jamie Umbelina, Adam Umbelina, Shane Chowen, Kaden Masuch, Lane Masuch and great-grandmother of Alaira & Madden Umbelina. Beloved daughter of Gisela & the late John Krziyzek (1994). Dear sister of Brigitta (the late Fred) Squire, Marianne (Wayne) Ross, Douglas Krziyzek, Mona Ford (Gerald Jacques) & the late Karl Krziyzek (2008). Also survived by many nieces, nephews & numerous friends.
Debbie worked 18 years at Bendix and was co-owner of Kuts Klip’n Kurls for 20 years.
Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Carol Reardon-Smith officiating. Interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
