Obituary of Mabel Aleda McClennan

Peacefully, with family by her side, at Chateau Gardens Nursing Home, Parkhill, on Sunday, May 18, 2014 Mabel passed away in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Tom McClennan. Loving mother of Catherine (Patrick) Pender, John (Janice) McClennan, Teresa Glover & Tracey (David) Charleson. Loving grandmother of Zachary, Jordan (Melissa), Carson, Stephanie, Andrew, Ariel, Chelsea, Sydney and great-grandmother of Jones & Flynn. Dear sister of Doreen Newton, Patricia Bush & Colleen Titmus. Beloved friend of Pat Rose. Mabel was owner of Erie Tours for many years and ran escorted tours throughout North America. Visitation will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Thursday from 6-8pm and Friday from 10-11am. Memorial Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Mark Bellamy of Fairmont United Church officiating.
