Obituary of Andy Wedzinga

Went home to be with the Lord, due to a tragic boating accident on Lake Nipissing, on July 19, 2010 at the age of 54. Andy leaves behind his loving wife of 35 years Helen (Dykema). He will be dearly missed by his four sons; Kevin (Julie) of Burlington, Jerry (Teresza) of Grimsby, Brian (Terri-Lynn) of St. Thomas and Adam (Jennifer) of London. Christian, Jordan, Joshua, Olivia, Brooklyn and Tyler will miss the best grandpa in the world. Andy is survived by his mother Eda, his brother Charlie (Cindy) and his sister Chris (Gord Stevenson). Andy is also loved by a large extended family. He was predeceased by his father Jerry (2008). Visitation will be held at FOREST CITY COMMUNITY CHURCH, 3725 Bostwick Road (between Southdale & Wharncliffe Rd.), on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Private family interment in Robbin’s Hill Cemetery, Thorndale. A Celebration of Andy’s life will be held at Forest City Community Church on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
