Obituary of Barbara Ann Cadogan
It’s with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara Ann Cadogan of London, in her 64th year. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27th 2008 at Parkwood Hospital with family and friends at her side, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Beloved wife and best friend of Donald Cadogan and loving mother of Shellie Drinkwalter (Douglas), Christopher Cadogan and Shannon Cadogan (Jeff Wharton). Also survived by 5 beautiful granddaughters, Shanna, Marnie, Shauna, Kathleen Drinkwalter and Chelsea Cadogan. Dear sister and sister-in-law to Ron and Beth Tucker of Sault Ste. Marie, Ken Tucker (deceased) and Elaine Regier of Exeter. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Barb was a beautiful free spirit who had a great love and passion for her family and friends and especially her 5 remaining granddaughters. She was someone who ‘loved to love’ her family and friends and it showed in her devotion of everyone she cared about. She will be especially remembered for her hilarious sense of humour and her quick wit and her unconditional love she showed her family. She had a passion for gardening and a great love for her dogs Kato and Bailey. Visitation will be held at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (one block east of Egerton) on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place in the chapel on Thursday, January 31, 2008 at 2 o’clock. Donations can be made to St Elizabeth Health Care or the Canadian Cancer Society. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca .
