Obituary of Bernie Cathcart

At London Health Sciences Centre, University Hospital, on Friday, August 8, 2008 surrounded by his loving family and friends, Bernie Cathcart, of London, in his 65th year. Beloved husband of the late Joan Cathcart. Predeceased by his parents William and Reta Cathcart. Dear father of Charlene (Bruce) of London. Dear brother of Joan and her husband Glenn Stewart and Sharon and her husband Russell Poirier all of Halifax, Thelma and her husband Jim Barrett of Dominion, N.S., Wayne and his wife Sandra Cathcart of Greenwood, N.S., Billy and his wife Debbie Cathcart of Winnipeg and Ira and his wife Mary Cathcart of Dominion, N.S. Dear son-in-law of Rose White of London and brother-in-law of Pat Cathcart. Predeceased by his brother Sheldon and sister Florence. Survived by many nieces and nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road (1 block east of Egerton), on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
