Obituary of Beatrice Joy Cripps
(Beatrice) JOY CRIPPS recently living in Stratford, Ontario, but former resident of London, Ontario, died peacefully at Stratford General Hospital on Saturday, October 29, 2011.
Loving mother of (George) Al Cripps of Regina, SK and Linda and her husband, Glen, of Tavistock, Ontario. Devoted and loving grandmother of Greg Weitzel and Lindsay Weitzel and her fiancé, Andrew Kuiack.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack (John Albert) Cripps on December 4, 2007, after 63 years of marriage, all her siblings, Jim, Dick (Ede), Walter (Marge), Frank, Ed, Cliff (Connie) and John L. "Bud" (Bette) Tearoe, and in-laws, George, Gerald & Eva, Walter, Fred, Bill & Ella, Ted Cripps and Eva Shaddick. She is survived by sisters-in-law Dodie Tearoe, Rene Tearoe, brother-in-law Ken Cripps (late wife Iris), sister-in-law Catherine & her husband, Walter, Fletcher, sisters-in-law Eunice, Anne & Pat Cripps, Amelia Stone (late husband Ron) and numerous special nieces and nephews in Ontario and B.C.
A memorial service to celebrate Joy’s life will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario, on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 11:00 am with visitation on Tuesday, November 1, 2011, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Interment will take place on Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at Woodland Cemetery, London, after the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Stratford General Hospital MRI Fund would be appreciated.
