Beverley will always have a very special place in the hearts of the staff and children at Acadmie de la Tamise school. Every morning for the past 6 years, madame Beverley was at school, feeding our little ones by preparing a nutritious breakfast and healthy snacks for those little mid-day snack attacks. She would love to surprise our children with cinnamon flavoured pancakes...just to make them smile. Beverley watched over them during recess, mending broken hearts, wiping tears when little ones were hurt and helping resolve conflicts with only the wisdom a grandmother can impart. She would forever be picking up after them when the bell would ring and then search for the rightful owners of the prizes she (mittens, hats, jackets, skipping ropes and balls) collected in the yard. She would spend much of her spare time knitting mittens for our little ones who would forget to bring their own on cold winter days.....or a beautiful scarf to give to a friend and make their day! She spent many a free moment, watching our littlest visitors to our early years drop in centre play, and converse with our young moms and dads. Beverley was a friend, a colleague and a grand mother to many little ones...her generous heart, her kind spirit and compassion for others will never be forgotten. Merci madame Beverley....nous taimons fort fort!
