Obituary of David Ronald Rawson

Peacefully, at home, with his family by his side, on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, Dave (Davey) passed away in his 69th year. Deeply in love husband of Cristina and father of Laura (Mike) Barker, Becky (Joe) VanBoxmeer, Jennifer (Scott) Gillies & Brett (Misty) Rawson. "Grandpa Rawson" to Morgan, Katie, Tristen, Samantha, Emily, Brooklyn, Carleigh, Austin, Alex & Ashleigh. Dave will be missed by his furry buddy Toby and his best friend Bill (Margie) Palmer. Predeceased by his parents, sisters & brothers. Also survived by his brother Matt and many nieces & nephews. Dave was a dedicated & recognized employee of Metropolitan Maintenance and had a passion for fishing, golf and playing with his dog Toby. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Monday, July 13, 2015, from 12-1pm. A Celebration of Dave’s Life will follow in the Evans Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations to the London Regional Cancer Centre – Patient Assistance Program would be appreciated by the family.
