Obituary of Carolyn Ann Wood (neè Hough)

It is with our deepest sadness that Carolyn Ann Wood passed away peacefully, at home, on Friday, April 1, 2016, in her 74th year. Survived by loving husband of 54 years Gordon Wood and 6 children Jim Wood (Diane), Cindy (Andy) Harvey, Sharon Wood, Greg Wood, Paul Wood & Janice Wood (Jeff). Loved by 11 grandchildren & 6 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Jane (Dave-deceased) Haskell, Eleanor (Ernie) Russell & Tom Hough. At last she will be with her parents Myrtle Esther & George Norman Hough. Carolyn was a longtime member of the Carling Heights Optimist Club and had a passion for scrapbooking. A Celebration of Carolyn’s Life will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. (Visitation from 1-2pm). Private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
