Obituary of George Carroll
Suddenly on August 25, 2024, George decided it was time to go and rest with his Mom & Dad in heaven.
George was predeceased by his Dad (Elmer 2000) and Mom (Georgina 2023). Surviving siblings are brother David (Linda) & sister Janet (Al Saunders). Uncle to Jenny (Nathan), Danielle (Brad), Alan, Jenn (Rich) and great-uncle to Logan, Hannah, Autumn, Wyatt, Ida Jane, Holly, Macy, Noah & Cali. Also survived by aunts & many cousins.
George helped doing little jobs on the farm growing up and enjoyed outdoor activities. At the age of 16 he began working for Community Living London until retiring at age 60. He always enjoyed watching his movies with a hot or cold beverage at hand. George would like to say a BIG thank you to Sylvia & Taco for all the great visits of watching a movie or a renovation show and most of all those Timbits & iced coffees. Also, to Vicki for the visits & checkers game even though George said someone was cheating. Haha. We as a family would like to say a Big thank you to Agecare London for all the fantastic care for George even though it was a short stay and to the staff in ICU at UH and the 8th floor staff and especially charge nurse Sam for the great care and understanding in George’s final moments.
Cremation and burial have taken place. Donations to Community Living or Heart and Stroke would be greatly appreciated. Online condolences can be expressed at www.evansfh.ca . Evans Funeral Home, (519) 451-9350, entrusted with arrangements.
George you will be greatly missed by all, and you are home again
