Obituary of James Leader
Peacefully, at LHSC, Victoria Hospital on Saturday, August 17, 2024, Jim Leader passed away at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Linda Leader (née Hurst). Loving father of Tim (Michelle) Leader and Matthew (Amanda) Leader. Dear Papa of Elijah. Cherished brother of Margaret Fountain and Beverly Wray. Predeceased by his parents Stanley & Phyllis Leader, and sisters Kathleen Lucas, Diana Whitehall and Joan Leader. Forever in hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jim was a devoted London Knights fan and enjoyed golfing in his spare time. Jim also loved taking trips to South Carolina and camping with his wife Linda and their family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Cardiac Care Unit at LHSC, Victoria Hospital for all their care and support.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario (1 block east of Egerton), on Thursday, August 22, 2024 from 7-9 p.m.
Memorial service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment of ashes in Pond Mills Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Children’s Health Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Jim.

A tree will be planted, by the Evans Funeral Home, as a
living memorial to James “Jim” Leader.
