Obituary of David George Benway
The family of David George Benway are devastated to announce his sudden and unexpected passing on Thursday May 30, 2024 at the age of 60. Born in Prince Edward County, son of the late Ronald (2017) and Gloria (2001) Benway.
Dedicated and loving father to Jennifer Tracy (Mike) and Brian Benway. Proud grandfather to Cohen Tracy. Survived by his brothers Dwayne (Karen) and Dennis (Dawn). Remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends.
Dave moved to London in his early twenties, building a life by achieving his Master Plumber Designation, running a successful plumbing business and starting a family. He spent many summers with friends and family at Shady Pines Campground playing his guitar and singing around the campfire. Dave took great pride in maintaining care for his car, and keeping the fridge full of beer!
In the words of Randy Travis, “I’m gonna love you forever and ever, amen” Love Tiddlyjane and Leroy.
As an expression of sympathy, those who wish to, may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
Cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Carey's Bar and Grill, 1569 Oxford Street East, London, ON. from 3:00 - 6:00 p.m.
