Obituary of Richard Howard "Rick" Stevens

With broken hearts, we announce the loss of our husband, father and Papa on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at his home at the age of 73.

Beloved husband of 37 years to Suzanne “Sue” Stevens. Loving father of Bradley Stevens (Jennifer), Jessica (Tyler) Gillespie and Patrick (Frank) Stevens. Cherished Papa of Rowan, Parker, Joseph, Lillian and Colton. Dear son-in-law of Eileen MacLennan. Forever in the hearts of his extended family & friends in Cape Breton, who he loved to see every year.

Rick was a devoted employee of McCormick’s for 37 years where he acquired many friends. Rick will be fondly remembered for walking his dogs and talking to his neighbours, along with his love of music & Jeopardy.

Cremation has taken place.

A celebration of Rick’s life will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Road, London, Ontario. 

Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Rick.
