Koumbara Dimitra, Tom, Christina, Tina, Will, Chris , Janice and Families,
We are devastated to learn of Koumbaro’s passing.
He was a special friend and Koumbaro, warm and loving with a kind heart and jovial spirit. We have many happy personal memories of him and we will always remember his Greek dancing and being the life of the party. He was always there if you needed him and always worked so hard for the Greek community and he was passionate about its success.
Since moving to London, he has left a big void and will forever be missed.
Koumbara, your love story is an inspiration to all of us. We know how much he loved all of you and his face lit up every time he talked about you.
Please accept our deepest condolences and our thoughts and love are with all of you during this very difficult time.
Bill and Stella Hatzis

The Embassy restaurant and the Port(Portis) family will forever be part of Wawa’s past and of our youth for those who lived there many years ago. The siblings were all unique with distinct characters. Sophie in her black clothes sitting in the back giving you a smile while moving her head side to side while lifting her bent arm circling her hand as you greeted her. Tom was the quiet one. Bill was the social one. Then there was Louis… the father figure, the boss. I can still see him standing, arms folded, behind the cash register, looking out the window. Sometimes, he would sit at the “waitress’s table with the hired help. Even saw him cleaning mashed potatoes of the walls that he threw there in frustration that a customer sent back to the kitchen. They all had great work ethics and worked hard for their families. Those characteristics were passed down to their offspring. So glad to have them in my memories and offer you all my deepest and sincere condolences. May you all be comforted in knowing that Louis’ faith graduated into Heaven’s eternity.
