Obituary of Allen Gumprich
Allen Sheldon Gumprich passed away on February 6, 2024, after a long period in kidney failure and a short period of pneumonia, age 77.
Beloved husband of Carole, adored father of Dinah (Jeremy) Frank and Naomi Gumprich-Munn, and grandchildren Nevia and Joel Frank, Hannah, Lucas, and Evan Munn. Treasured brother of Terry Peretz and Darlene Turmel, and brother-in-law of Ellen and Bruce Crall and Audrie and Larry Sturman. Cherished by his Aunt Corrine and Uncle Fred Gumprich and Aunt Selma Albersheim, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews around the globe. Predeceased by his parents, Max and Monya Gumprich.
A proud and dedicated Jew, who cared deeply about preserving our traditions and cemeteries, Allen will be sadly missed by friends at Or Shalom Synagogue and Temple Israel of London, Beth Jacob Synagogue (Kitchener), and Congregation Beth El (Windsor), and Congregation Shaar Hashomayim (Windsor).
The funeral will be held at on Thursday, February 8th at 11 AM at Or Shalom Synagogue, 534 Huron St., London, followed by interment at Or Shalom Cemetery. The meal of consolation will follow at Temple Israel of London.
