Obituary of Margaret Rae Talbot (nee Nicol)

Peacefully, at Henley Place with family by her side, on Sunday, January 8, 2017, Margaret Rae Talbot (nee Nicol) in her 79th year. Loving wife of the late George Frederick Talbot (2014) for 55 years; Mom to Eleanor & Clarke Ferris, Ron & Wanda Talbot and Barbra Talbot & Ray Van Kroonenburgh. Cherished grandmother of Trent (Claire), Stephanie (Kiefer), Troy, Angie (Adam), Ashley (Patryck), Adam (Amy) and Alex; great-grandmother of Addison, Emry & Everett. Dear sister of Annie Ryan & Jim Nicol. Dear sister-in-law of Glen (deceased) & Marion Talbot, William (deceased) & Fern Talbot and Leonard (deceased) & Kathy Talbot. Also survived by many much loved nieces & nephews. Margaret loved life, her family, friends, the outdoors and will be missed by everyone. Meg was a longtime Manager of Kurly Q on Hamilton Road. A Memorial Service will be held at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a time of fellowship & sharing until 4pm. In honor of Meg, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family.
