My mom and I were just fondly reminiscing about Dr. Stoffman. I went to Google and am deeply saddened by the news of his passing. My mom was a single parent and he helped her tremendously with all her questions while becoming a new parent to a child with anaphylaxis and asthma. He always reassured her and I am very grateful for that. He even came to the hospital shortly after I was born and I was with him for 16 years after that. I still vividly remember his doctors office, down to the smell, and the horse rocking chair. He made a lasting impact on our lives. May he rest in peace.

Dearest Naomi, Joel and I were deeply saddened to learn of your beloved Johns passing.John was a gentleman of great integrity, wisdom and genuine love of people. His unique sense of humour was particularly refreshing. He was outstanding as a Paediatrician, as based on our own children's and grandchildren’s experiences. He will be deeply missed in our community.
It truly has been a privilege to know the Stoffman family, and to share in many family milestones over the years.
We are currently out of the country though were able to attend the funeral on the Zoom platform.
May his memory be a blessing to you all.

Dear Naomi and Family,
Susan and I bear great sadness at John's passing away. Both of you have shown kindness and inclusion in the happier events of days gone by and for that we are grateful. John was selfless in his doctorly devotion to my children and a good friend in choir and at the Robarts School for the Deaf. John always had something good to say and was an example of a unique and irreplaceable person.
I am missing him now. Please accept our condolences.

It was with profound sadness that I read the notice of Dr. Stoffman's passing. Dr. Stoffman's guidance and caring support over the years and even advice when I became a father helped immensely in raising my children and now grandchildren. His support of my personal endeavours and always asking how my parents were showed his true self as a wonderful human being. He was simply a great man. My deepest condolences to the family. may his memory be eternal and his family take solace in all the good that he did in his time here.
