Obituary of Ruth Anne Crozier

Ruth Anne Crozier passed away on January 15, 2024, in her 74th year. Lovingly remembered and survived by her brother David (Therese) of London, and fondly remembered as Auntie Ruth Anne to Alison (Jeff) of Southampton, Leslie (Rob) of Ingersoll, Andrew (Karen) of Arkansas, Lindsay of New York, and Adam (Meghan) of London. She is also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily, Katie, Alex, Aaron, Daniel, Baylee, Maeve, and Mackenna. Ruth Anne was predeceased by her parents Thomas “Bud” and Charlotte, sister Mary-Lou (Russ), and brothers Tom and Jim (Joan).

Born on May 13, 1950, Ruth Anne was a graduate of College Avenue Secondary School (CASS) in Woodstock, and of St. Clair College, and worked as a travel agent at agencies up and down Richmond Row in London, most recently retiring from Carlson Wagonlit. A world traveller, she enjoyed exploring whether it be her most recent trips with the PhotoTourTrekkers to China, Egypt, and Scotland, or to the Lake Huron coast to visit with Alison and her family. Her gardens were second to none, but above else she loved her family and friends, and was always happy for a coffee and conversation, or a day trip and shopping.

She had recently joined the Carling Heights Optimist Club to help give back to her community, was a descendant of a United Empire Loyalist, and a friend of Bill W. and Dr. Bob.

Visitation will be held at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London on Thursday from 6-8pm and Friday from 1-2pm.  Funeral service will be conducted in the Logan Chapel on Friday, January 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.  Cremation to follow with interment in Innerkip Cemetery.  Online condolences can be expressed at www.loganfh.ca

The family wishes to thank the staff of University Hospital ICU and Palliative Care teams for all their efforts to help Ruth Anne these past few days. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Ruth Anne’s memory be made to the Carling Heights Optimist Club, the Canadian Wildlife  Federation, or the Canadian Cancer Society.

She will be tremendously missed by all who knew her,

and to know her was to love her.
