Obituary of Janet Lorrie McCoy (née Hilliard)

Peacefully, after a lengthy struggle with Myotonic Dystrophy Type I, at Victoria Hospital, on Monday, January 16, 2017, Janet passed away 4 days after her 57th birthday. Loving wife of Paul (for 37 years) and mother of Carly & the late Christopher (1984). Beloved daughter of Tom (deceased) & Marion Hilliard and the late Millie Hilliard. Dear sister of Cheryl (deceased) & (Ken) Koch, David (Dianna) Hilliard & Tammy (Mark) Law. Janet will be lovingly remembered by the McCoy Family, many nieces, nephews & friends. Janet treasured her many years of family camping at Ipperwash & Fanshawe. Friends will be received at the Evans Funeral Home, 648 Hamilton Rd. (1 block east of Egerton St.), on Thursday 6:30-8:30 pm & Friday 1-2pm. Funeral service will be held in the Evans Chapel on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery.
