Obituary of Robert Andrew Thompson
Peacefully, with family by his side on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Age Care Aylmer Nursing Home, Robert Andrew “Andy” Thompson passed away at the age of 75.
Beloved husband of Carolynne Thompson of Tillsonburg. Loving father of Jeff Thompson (Courtney Shantz) of Tillsonburg and Greg (Tessa) Thompson of Kenmore, Washington State, USA. Devoted grandfather of Lucas Shantz of Tillsonburg, Emily Shantz of Tillsonburg, Will Thompson of Kenmore, Washington State, USA and Alice Thompson of Kenmore, Washington State, USA. Cherished brother of Jim (Sheila) Thompson of Seaforth, Betty (Barry) Powley of Chilliwack, British Columbia, Sharon (Brian) Nesbitt of Waterloo, Bob (Michele) Thompson of Stratford, Stephen (Cindy) Plunkett of Blyth, David (Julie) Plunkett of Blyth, Darryl (Susan) Plunkett of Auburn and the late Bill Thompson (1968). Forever in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Age Care Aylmer Nursing Home for all their care and support.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will take place at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.) on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 1-2 p.m.
Memorial service will follow in the Logan Chapel at 2:00 p.m.
