Obituary of Angelo De Sousa Mendonça

Suddenly, with family by his side at LHSC, Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, Angelo Mendonça passed away at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of 64 years to the late Emilia Mendonça (née Medeiros). Loving father of Helen (George), Tony, Natalie (Mike), Angelo (Kim), and Paula. He will be deeply missed by his grandchildren Michelle, Andrea, Emily, Mathew, Chris, Jessica, Evan, Nicholas, Adam, Olivia, Abby, and his great-grandchildren Jevon, Naiya, and Milly. Dear brother of Teresa and Sofia. Predeceased by his parents Jose Raposo Mendonça & Maria Teresa De Sousa, and his siblings Manuel, Lequecina, Dorvalina, Maria da Luz and Jose.

Friends and family will be received at the Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Monday, December 4, 2023 from 4-7 p.m.

Service will be held in the Logan Chapel on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London, Ontario.

Those who wish to make memorial donations in Angelo’s memory, are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada, in lieu of flowers.
