Obituary of Steve Liounis
Peacefully, on Friday, October 27, 2023 at PeopleCare Oakcrossing, London, Steve Liounis passed away at the age of 95.
Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Anna Liounis (née Stratakos). Loving father of Matula and Tony (Kathy). Beloved Pappou to Stavros. Dear brother in law of Helen (the late Pandeli) Eleftheroglou, Steve (Soula) Stratakos, Christine (the late Arigiris) Tambourlos, the late Angela (the late Terry) Rigakos and the late Georgia (Theothoro) Vergiris. Cherished uncle of Tony, Matula, Dina, Kosta, Georgia, Peter and Sotiri all of Toronto. Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brothers Gus, George and Nico all of Greece.
Steve loved gardening and will be fondly remembered for his laid back, fun nature.
Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 6-9 p.m.
Prayers will be conducted in the Logan Chapel Thursday evening at 8:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario on Friday, November 3, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Steve.
