Obituary of Angela (Ageliki) Pilias
Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital, London, on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, Angela Pilias (nee Makrakos) passed away in her 86th year.
Eternally re-united with her late husband James Pilias (2000). Loving mother of Tom (Esther) Pilias and Paul Pilias. Cherished grandmother of Logan Pilias. Dear sister of Tony & Roula Makrakos, James (deceased) & Koula Makrakos, the late Bill & Katina Makrakos all of London, and the late Theodore & Eleni Makrakos, the late Fanio & Gregory Valkanas all of Greece. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews & close friends.
Born in Kidonitsa, Xirokambi, Greece, Angela immigrated to London, Ontario, Canada over 60 years ago and was a faithful member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Community.
Family & friends will be received for visitation from 12-1pm on Monday, October 23, 2023 at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario. Funeral service will follow in the church on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
Those who wish may make memorial donations to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in memory of Angela.
