Obituary of Harry Loupos

Peacefully, on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at LHSC, University Hospital, Harry Loupos passed away in his 88^th year. Beloved husband of Irene for 60 plus years. Loving father to Pamela and the late Fr. Deacon Demetrios (2014). Fondly remembered by his brother Nick. Dear uncle to Jim (Teresa), Jim (Kim), Dean (Wendy), Nick (Anna), Jim Manos, Mary (Scott) and all their families. Greatly missed by his sister-in-law Olga and her daughter Maya. Forever in the hearts of many cousins in Greece, United Kingdom and the U.S.A.

Harry immigrated to Canada from Greece in 1951 with his mother the late Panagiota, his sisters the late Angela, the late Georgina and his brother Nick.

Harry with his brother owned the Olympia Restaurant on Richmond Street in early 1960. He worked at McCormicks, Northern Electric and retired from Ford of Canada-St. Thomas Assembly Plant in 1997 after 30 years. Harry was a hard worker, a kind, loving, humble gentleman, and devoted husband and father.

The family would like to extend a special thank you with much appreciation to all doctors, nurses, PSW workers and staff in ICU and the Orthopedic floor at LHSC, University Hospital for all the care and support they gave to Harry.

Visitation will be held at Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas Street, London, Ontario (between Waterloo & Colborne St.), on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 6-9 p.m.

Prayers will be conducted in the Logan Chapel Tuesday evening at 8:00 p.m.

Funeral Service will be held at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Rd. W., London, Ontario on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.

Interment in Woodland Cemetery, London, Ontario.
