Obituary of Ted Simkovich
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ted Simkovich. Ted passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 26th, 2023 at the age of 70.
Loving husband of Mindy, proud father of Aaron and Sara. Predeceased by his parents Chaim and Freda and brother, Milan. Brother-in-law of David, Sara, Alyson, Barry, and Tsylia. Uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Ted possessed an unparalleled combination of charisma, integrity and authenticity inspiring all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warmth, positivity, and ability to find a joke for any occasion is what drew so many to him.
Let us honour Ted’s memory by carrying his spirit of selflessness and joy with us, and by cherishing our loved ones every day. As Ted always said, Heaven on earth.
Ted, you will be deeply missed, but your legacy of love and laughter will live on in our hearts forever. The world is poorer for your having passed, but richer for your having passed through.
Funeral service has taken place. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make memorial donations in memory of
Ted are asked to consider the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada or Children’s Health Foundation, LHSC.
Logan Funeral Home, 371 Dundas St., (519) 433-6181, entrusted with arrangements.
A tree will be planted, by the staff of the Logan Funeral Home,
